The Georgia Aquarium

On August 3rd, Todd & I flew down to Atlanta so that we could visit the Georgia Aquarium, which happens to be the largest aquarium in the world!


Their exhibits hold eight million gallons of water. (Eight million!) Their largest exhibit, Ocean Voyager, is a huge 6.3 million gallon tank that holds 3 whale sharks - the largest fish in the ocean.


It was truly one of the most awesome sights I have beheld. Here's a short video of one of the manta rays (also rarely seen in captivity) doing loop de loops:
