Happy New Year!

I have been a BAD blogger! I don't know if I can fill in details for the whole period from December 16th to January 27th. That would be a looooooong post, so instead, here are the highlights:


1. Spending Christmas with Mom, Rich, Jerry, Dallas, AJ & Ryan

2. Visiting Ann, James, Julian and Pookie in Burlington, while down in NC for the holidays

3. New Year's Eve in Manhattan (I did my best to stay away from Times Square)

4. Various holiday/winter concerts and recitals with my students

5. Going for Korean food with Heidi and Ben, and their two beautiful daughters, Maggie and Genny!




6. Seeing the squamates at the American Museum of Natural History (and spending the whole day) with Todd
(also seeing the Star of India, the whale, the dinosaurs, the meteors and the big redwood slice!)

7. Laying inside the big donut at the MoMA and seeing the Miró exhibit with Todd
8. Seeing Maria and Geoff in NYC on their way back to DC after the New Year

9. Seeing Becky Shaw at Second Stage Theater (Thanks, Don-Scott!)

10. Going to Planet Thailand (with Todd!) for Lisa's birthday


11. Seeing Revolutionary Road with Lisa

12. Watching the Golden Globes

13. Making dinners and hanging out with Todd and Monica

14. Rehearsing Pirates of Penzance and Peter Pan with the kids at Buckley

15. Seeing Stephanie sing the lead in Orfeo ed Euridice with Dad, Beth and Martin, having dinner with them at Becco, and partying in Hell's Kitchen with Beth!

16. Performing with Maria Jose at Chelsea Studios for the Offstage Group

17. The innauguration of BARACK OBAMA as president of the United States! Holy Crap!

18. Turning pages for Peter Serkin at Carnegie hall, in a world-premiere Wuorinen concerto, with James Levine and the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra

19. Partying in Hell's Kitchen and the East Village, sight-seeing, and clothes shopping with Mark last weekend



20. Making awesome pizza and amazing vegan cupcakes with Todd last night!
Whew. Now I think I'm all caught up.
